Yeah, its been shitty for the last couple days. I can get on occasionally though.

saucywoman 02-08-2005 02:46 PM

well glad to know I wasn't the only one. I was wondering if somehow my firewall was changed so that it wouldn't allow msn to access the internet. :\

WSODgirlracer 02-08-2005 03:58 PM

anyone on here graduating from UCC this year? If so i'll be singing at your convocation, the school asked me too :D and the new TRU celebration which i think will be the day we officiallize our university status.

Saturn2nr 02-08-2005 05:16 PM

Well gotta make a new front plate for my box.. but other than that the bitch is done. Carpeting it, running all new wire and throwing everything in tomorrow afternoon:D I have a feeling this thing is gonna sound nice

Domani 02-08-2005 06:54 PM

here is my contribution of the day to this thread hehe

i've been in kelowna for just a little bit more than a month now...
and i've notice this since the first day i got here. it seems like
MANY... K-Town drivers don't know what is signal lights are. and many
ppl here drive like a mad man, i sware, i get cut off at least ONCE
a day. since i begin to noticed this, i decided to count how many
times i got cut off today. today, it was a new record, 5 times in the
whole day, all on harvey/97. and i have one of the worst
case of road rages out there, but i've noticed that i have none
here, i just let it go. wut pisses me off the most is, ppl cutting me off when i m in a middle of an intersection! and the doods just
swings out of no where and of course, no signal, not even one
of those "one touch" signals. in van, i would have layed down
on the horn for a good 5 sec... but here i dono i just let it go....

end of rant...

on a good note, today on my way home from my morning class
as usual, someone cut me off (one of the 5 times today)..
i just sigh and it put me in a bad mood. at the next light, a dood
in a red lude.. 3rd gen i think, stoped beside me and tried to "nice ride"
signal :) i thought that was nice...put me back on a good mood
for driving in kelowna. so i give him a nod and a

don't put up with bullshit.

the next time a cavalier with a fart can, carbon fibre taillights, and a big green "N" on the back cuts you off, stop the kid and proceed to kick his ass.

i have terrible road rage and it very easily gets the best of me.

Didn't you drive the roads in vancouver? I hate driving in VanCity way more than Kelowna. In Van, if there's room with 1 inch to spare, somebody is in there. Maybe you notice it in Kelowna more cuz you're not used to it there and you probably haven't figured the roads out yet and are driving more conservatively than in Van?

SmokeyTheBandit 02-08-2005 11:13 PM

if you see a car or two driving with a missing side mirror. you know this person forgot to shoulder check thanks to me :)

I don't find driving in Vancouver that bad.

Just drive faster.

in the first week.. i was driving more conversatively, but the last
couple weeks i haven't, esp on the 97 north part, i gun it
every time i m on there :)

and i lived in vancouver all my life and i go around the lower main
land alot so i've had my fairshare of experiance in driving
in van...

but then, all the cut offs i get is on harvey/97 north. same road &
the only road i go on actually. :(

Didnt the guy sell this car and buy something new? I remember seeing it at the auction a month or so ago.
