wow, a fairly shitty weekend for me.. racing wise...
friday night.. went to ashcroft.. tried to drink some rye to warm up, that didn't work.. called it off early and damn near froze to death trying to sleep in the car...
saturday morning.. get in two shitty runs, the first run spinning the tires off the line going sideways in 1st gear from some water on the cold surface. 3rd run of the day, launch at a better rpm so i wouldn't bog, but still going easy on it.. but sure enough.. engage the clutch and BANG, goes my 3rd rear cv axle in a month.

This is funny. Go to google and type in "failure" and hit the "I'm feeling lucky" button :p

fuck, this 2:30-11p.m. shift is the most BORING shift EVER. I could read a book during my shift. Oh well, it's kinda nice getting paid over $12/h to sit here and do nothing. :) Tired as hell though. I got so use to being in bed by 7 p.m.

hmmm....looks like I'm going to the Merritt rally....armed w/ 2 digital cameras (1 DSLR ;)), a ton of charged batteries, a handful of memory cards, my station wagon stuffed w/ blankets....oh yeah...and a press pass ;)

I had a 89 blazer and it was totaly fucked. when i got my 91 S10 it was already fixed with a bolt and a lot of glue but she recently broke. it makes the dash look so welfare. but yeh every S10 i looked at was broken. oh and the springs that retract the inside door handles are always broken.

i want to fix this but it's gona take some creative rigging which will probably break as soon as it gets cold.
