My bad! When did you get a 5D dude? Congrats! Haha.

I must be backwards... I remember someone buying Kevin's 20D, and a 10-22? I thought it was Mana. My bad!

Did you use some sort of wide angle for this? Curious what kind of lense you were using, and how you obtain that kind of lighting? This is something I would like to practice. Is a lot of it post processing in PS?
Im going to assume the vignetting was ps'd?

Mananetwork 08-05-2007 10:04 PM

^^ What lens I used was a 17-40 L4 on my Canon 5D. It was at full 17mm at 5.6.

Not a lot of post processing was done. WB adjustment, Curves to sharper contrasts, hue/sat with a specialty blend. The vignetting wasn't added either. If you can see the car and everything along the horizontal axis was brightened up more then the surrounding area. If you also look, I left the car just below the light to brighten it up and give the car shape

Here's another shot from the same day, this shot is a bit grainer because I shot at ISO800, twas starting dark and I forgot my tripod at home (wasn't really a planned shoot, it was kinda a last min "hey I haven't tried shooting the new color on a cloudy day yet, lets doooo it:mad: " thing, so I shot free hand w/ IS

Nah, it's easy: just take the lens off and lay the camera out on its back. Capture plenty of rain that way :)

Also handy for getting rid of dust on the sensor when you don't have a camera with the supersonic dust remover ;)
