could have, but didn't. reason is, i believe everyone can take advantage of the comments given to a specific image.

3/4 shots just gives the car it's depth. length and width

Thanx Tom :D

I need a better camera :(

Domani 01-15-2006 08:24 PM

ur camera is just fine...

nice useage of the city hall.

MikesJo 01-15-2006 09:37 PM

Damn your cars are all so clean! (or friend's car). Your shot looks fine carmaniac, only thing I would've watched out for is that post growing from the roof :).

Domani 01-15-2006 09:51 PM

u know i didn't even noticed that post until u mentioned

cause the post blened pretty well cause of its colour

carmaniac 01-16-2006 08:38 PM

I have to admit all these shots I've posted have been tweaked in Paint Shop, one of the biggest problems with my camera is light sensitivity, most pictures come out grainy in low light (perhaps I should start playing with the ISO settings :)).

here's another shot after going thru PSP processing heh

it's the attack of the post(s) again :D

I like the "more natural" coloured one, ie the first one.

It's cool because the whole picture has a very "fluorescent" feel to it.

acutally the 2nd one is the original, I believe.

lowside67 01-16-2006 10:06 PM

I realize the yellower one is the original, but I think the more fluorescent one looks better, that's all.

GranTurInj 01-16-2006 10:28 PM

2 I took the other night.

they're actually two completely different shots (although they look almost identical, just with a different crop). The 'cooler' one is one that i did with custom white balancing with the use of a margerine lid and the orangy warmer one is done with auto WB.

i liked both almost equally so i thought i'd ask here for other opinions

GFunk 01-17-2006 01:28 AM

now i've got another question

this was also shot with custom WB with the above method, and i'm wondering... is it properly white balanced? the car looks right, but is the backdrop supposed to be tinted in a shade of blue like that?

Background looks wrong.
