err any modern sportbike will be that much. he must have full discount, a new sportbike will easily cost over 3k depending on coverages with no discount.

yah i know what you mean, one thing i know i should do more but i never really realize it until i look at the pictures is that I'm always at a slight 'looking downwards' angle...

I dont really like the composition of that shot, but it's focused and exposed beautifully.

HyperREV 03-15-2006 04:59 PM

cool what dont you like about it?

theres also this one, but i dont quite like it as much.

http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y21.../sideshot2.jpg

this is the first time in a long while that i've shot a car heh, im a little rusty :)

lowside67 03-15-2006 07:16 PM

hey.

I suppose I'm totally out of line throwing out harsh criticism like I did without even being a decent enough photographer to shoot my own car.

The thing I think looks strange on the shot is how it's cropped on the left. I would be curious to see what it looks like with the whole right taillight.

don't worry that's not harsh.
and u don't need to be an artist to like and judge art. that's now
how it works.

u don't need to know the mechanics to realize something is
good looking :)

but the key word is "Humbleness"

dub.dub 03-15-2006 08:20 PM

Bonjour43MA 03-17-2006 02:50 AM

came out really well for a spur of the moment type thing. however, i am a little concerned, it seems as though since you've run out of things at school you're turning to stalking random people and their cars haha.

Bonjour43MA 03-17-2006 09:04 AM

it's ok, ppl usually don't get intimated by the little 50mm lens. :p

MikesJo 03-17-2006 10:04 AM

Nice exposure there with the car bonjour. Bonojour is probably being contracted by a P.I. Hehe. Pink car for a guy :S. Pink shirts are ok...cars?

Bonjour43MA 03-17-2006 10:23 AM

woo weird, now that u mentioned it i see that little pink patch to the side of the car too... it's a red car though.

hmm weird. probably cuz it was in the shades and it just came out pink.

hm.

how do i fix that?:(

dub.dub 03-17-2006 10:49 AM

Pink car? I see red... That small patch is barely pink. What screen are you looking that picture from Mike?

Ta Da!

Bonjour43MA 03-17-2006 02:22 PM

i feel stupid, it looks like a simple fix....

care to enlighten me on the process?

:p

GFunk 03-17-2006 02:32 PM

this is how i woulda done it. New layer, choose a soft brush and brush over teh general area that you want to go from pink to red with a deeper red, hit control-g (I've forgotten what this function is called), and then change the layer properties to soft light. Then adjust the opacity accordingly. This is how i've done it before with photoshop 6, not sure if it still applies to cs2 as i haven't tried it yet

Bonjour43MA 03-17-2006 02:49 PM

cool i'll give that a try

really need to work on my PS kills...
