i'm seriously surprised i squeeze out shots looking as good as they do. actually mine is yes a year or two older but has 2.0 megapixels and 6 times optical zoom. see why i want a new one?
i really like the way fuji's work, and i'd think about sticking with them. but basically i want a camera that shoots well in the dark. A camera that dos'nt always want to use the flash for everything, and has a nice super crisp picture with the set-ability of a manual camera. i like the idea of the fuji s20, i think even somthing like the s7000 would work fine. basically i'd have to seriously go shopping one day when i'm ready.

They look decent when printed, maybe it is just my monitor that has the poor quality. The one thing that angers me about my camera though is, the longest exposure rate is still not nearly long enough for some shots i like to take.
Not only that but when in manual mode, and adjusting: exposure, white balance, flash settings, macro, so on and so forth. you ALWAYS need a tripod. The only time i do not need a tripod if it is just normal auto settings and flash on. the camera is VERY flash dependant. movie mode or not i could care less, i'm buying a camera for a camera and thats all.
