You guys should transfer to a less populated server. Anyone at 80 would have a head start on a new server.

thats true.... less populated servers tend to fall behind in PvE progression then other servers, no competition :s ... and PvE helps PvP as well

tell me about it all i do now is quest and bgs hard to find pugs or even a raid guild when you aren't fully geared :/

pwn in arena(pvp), then good raiding guilds will start asking you to join... you just need reputation on the server
its how i got in to fraction #1 pve raiding guilds on my last 6 characters on 6 different servers

once you hit 80, do heroics, try to find some pug 10 mans.
there are some nice crafted gear if you have the money, it'll start you off fine :P

same... then i got super bored and ended my account. pissed me off when my bf at the time would start finding pugs without me so i'd resort to questing and bg's cuz the pugs i end up in would usually be pretty shitty. i just started up again a couple of weeks ago after a 6 month hiatus. i gotta work on my character first rather than level cuz i took over a level 60 who's profession-less and rep-less.

anybody else here playing a mage? my dps is so lacking now, hybrid classes are all beating me now, is it cause everybody else is OP?

because people do know good pvpers are also in successful in pve as well... when you start playing in the battlegroup top 100 teams, u start seeing the same people over and over again, and soon you make friends with them, eventrally they ask you to join them... an good example would be my druid which i made in S3, got S3 shoulders with rest of the gear in quest greens/dungeon blues... and ppl started asking me questions randomly and eventrally this 22x world ranked guild said they needed a druid that don't suck and asked if i wanted to join them for pve which i did (same thing happened to my hunter partner and quite a few gladiators on my server as well)... those good guilds don't really give a shit how shitty your pve gear is, since they can gear you up for the content in like 2 weeks... but u just need to prove to them that they can't find anyone better...

On PTR hunters are reporting a loss of 15 to 25% of dps in raids lol.


Nice one blizzard. DK are way too OP and they don't get any nerf. I am in mostly purple a few blues and vendor gear and I did a good 1900 to 2000dps while a DK and warlock in decent blues did 2200+dps in heroics. So no we are not OP. Once other class start hitting the hit cap it really balance out.

i dunno if these charts are correct but it looks like physical dps are dominating the raid dps right now :s

and its just on the PTR, things will change... and i hear they are trying to nerf DK, but still trying to find a balance so it doesn't gimp them in pvp as well...
wow has been like this ever since release, something gets nerfed, something gets buffed... the cycle keeps going (i believe their tactic is to make everyone strong at some point in the expansion to keep everyone's subscription)

If you have Quest Helper on it is a known issue to Blizz that they cannot do anything about. I am unable to log on to one of my toons half the time when it is on. Usually I just log on one of my alts, log off and then on to my main. Hope this helps.

You're doing 2k DPS as a hunter? That's...uh...not great.

^^ still need to gear up. Depends on the fight really. Espeically when u are pugging putting too much dps might get u kill lol.

Did that a few times. Went all the out and the tank can't hold aggro lol.

Grizzly Hills is the most recent server that opened up... PVE... so far decent server and you would have a ton of groups while you leveled.

If you're in 80 epics you should be doing almost 4k dmg in BM spec. MM is only slightly less than that. I'm still in mostly 70 epics with a few instance blues and I normally do about 2k, my dps is shit, I'll be the first to admit that. 1600 when I'm not actually trying or paying attention (autoshot afk ftw!).

edit: on a side note... they need to up the drop rate of Tiny Emerald Whelpling >< 0.1% sucks T-T
