LOL at all the dk that thinks they are the sh!t and start jumping any guy they see ~ i'm having an easy time with them with my mage lol death grip me = gg :) frost nova + deep freeze and start pounding away with spells lol and if necessary use my water elemental and freeze them again =)

on a side note.. wtf is a mage suppose to do against a rogue?? you can't see them in stealth.. and they stun/daze me long enough to take me out before i have a chance to cast a spell... any suggestion?

back when lower ranked spells costed less mana, use lower level AE and Blizzard to detect em. With practice you can just blizzard where the rogue is, from there its GG.

always have your shield on lol. dont iceblock RIGHT away imo... spam blink, water ele, freeze, when he cloaks and atks me i iceblock cause im more or less screwed then.

but rogues are pretty hard to fight :P

i like playing my rogue but wish he had some aoe spells (lvl 80 fan of knives doesnt really count).
after watching my friend's geared warrior take a big mob down in 5 seconds i was jealous.

also respec'd my mage to arcane but now i have no idea what im doing

yeah mage vs rogue is a total mismatch.. i play both.
rogue can stunlock or garrote + mind numbing

can someone tell me how to make a macro for the trinket i'm using? opening up the inventory and click it is annoying :S and i dunno how to make a macro for it ~ i'm still learning the game ~ blinking is not really an option.. the cd on it is fairly long.. 10 or 15 sec? and sometimes when i blink.. i ended up at the same spot -_-

lvling up profession as a dk is a pain in the ass.. the only profession that's economical to lvl is any of the gathering profession :S tailoring, enchanting etc is not an option unless you feel like buying overpriced stuff on AH or spending hrs farming low lvl mobs for the low lvl ingredients :S

Anyone got tips on what skill tree is better for lvling? I'm clueless with the new skills an everything with my warlock.

use the addon TrinketMenu. it's pretty good. lets u easily switch trinkets.

put it on ur action bar. i have all of the action bars up covered with everything imaginable. trinkets are at the bottom so i can click fast. i hate macros. they throw me off completely.

also, go with gathering profs first till you make a good amount of gold. don't go with crafting ones first. u'll be broke 99% of the time. i'm still with mining and skinning right now. i'll never ever be broke LOL

so yeah...save the gold with what you get with the gathering ones, and then switch to one of the others. i find a hell lot of people do that.

you can do /use 12 or /use 13 for the trinket slots. im not 100% about the numbers but /use works as far as i know

right now retadin / arcane mage are way OP'd... but when everyone start getting level 80 rated resilience gear, then those 2 class probably go down, since retadin depends too much on crit...
but i m planning to reroll a rogue, warlock, or boomkin(had a GM rogue pre-BC, and 2.3k rated restokin til S3, but want to play alliance this time)... anyone have suggestions?

btw gathering profs will make you some money, but if you aren't planning to sell gold, then whats the point? ...
and some of the BOP craftable items are best in the game...
just find a good guild and get some nice crafting patterns... then ppl pay you 100-500g to craft for them...
also back when Hyjal needed attunement, i probably made 10kg just camping shatt... (spend like 5k to buy all the patterns... 10g for blue cut , 25 for meta/epic - only 4 JC on the server had exaulted rep w/ hyjal back then and we knew each other, so we controlled the economy for about 3-4 months... )

But with 2 gathering profession you can't make ur own stuff and fun stuff! My hunter is a lw/skinner and I can make myself decent amour, entry instance epic. My pirest si a tailor and herb again I make decent amour and the herb I can sell on teh AH. MY warlock have tailor and encanting. MAN ENCHATING makes the most money at high levels.

one cobalt node that gets me 4 pieces of ore is worth 5g a piece on my server

Mining was huge money at the beginning, now the market is flooded by DKs who have levelled up and are using gathering professions. For an engineer like me its more worth it to hold onto the ore that I find so I can improve my eng. in leaps and bounds with the stacks of ore/minerals that I have over time.

titansteel bars. 1 bar/20 hours. 600-700g/bar

plus i get endless amounts of leathers and such with all the mobs i kill.

i will never run out of gold LOL

and no not transfering servers.
