I picked up an epic mount yersterday!! Woot! Found it at Molten Core raid. 200% speed on an undead warhorse, and I am a Night Elf hunter! .04% drop rate. Woot!

Oh forgot to mention. We did a raid on our server to OG. Lvl 55+, and we had around 50ish. Got to Thrall after killing off all the AH and Bank guys. But Thrall was impossible to kill. He kept giving out buffs to nearby Horde to make them super strong! TOo bad Horde can never hit IF like how we did to OG.

I think W2K and I are addicted to this game...we got the game Saturday and we're both at level 14 now haha.

So what? I've been playing for a month and I'm level 44. :lol

I've seen a video where a Horde raid group just totally devastates SW.

Yeah, therre are epic mount drops from Molten Core and I think Strathaholme. But MC is basically a raid only instance. A group of 5 lvl 60's would get slaughter. Even 20, you need atleast 35+ lvl 60s to do MC.
I rolled a 96 to get the Epic mount. It's worth soo much at the AH! NE on an Undead horse rules!

ANd yes, SW is a dead city. Only low lvl people and poeple that travel to Sunken Temple pass by SW or doing a few lvl 62 elite quests.

Is the mount soulbound? Like after you mount it, you can't sell it on AH anymore?

Oops my bad. The mount is BOP and not sellable on AH. Sorry, I was thinking of something else. And the rate drop I just checked is .004 not .04. Also, the mount I got was from Strath, I did two raids and got mixed up with M.C.

One of the guys passed and some other guy rolled, then another so I rolled and won. And now the guy that passed is all pissed off at me for winning it.

Why would you be a ninja roller? A drop like that should be free for anyone who can use it!

so I JUST purchased WoW from EB ($54.99)...anyways, i havent opened it yet cuz i wanted to research on the web in terms of playing WoW on a laptop... some posts on various forums indicated .. 'yes it will play.. '..while others maintain a 'do NOT play on a laptop... '... sooo..before i open it and render it NON-returnable.. anyone on here playing on a laptop?

I play it sometimes on my HP DV1040CA. It's a Pentium M 715, so it runs at 1.4ghz and on the Intel Extreme Graphics chip. Not the best setup for a 3D game like this, and it IS a tiny bit choppy.

However, it's enough to satisfy my WoW urges ;)

There is no difference between a laptop and a PC. It's all about specs. If your video card is sufficient to run the game (and it is), it will work (although with those specs you'll have to turn down quite a few options).
