I dont anymore, but in highschool I did. I had a 93 Ford Ranger, it was honestly a babe magnet too, I dont know why.

maybe because only girls are small enough to sit in them :lol

i drove my parents car when i was 16 too...but it wasn't a porsche boxster. it was a 1.8L 16v mazda protege.

I'd kill if my parents bought me a car, but even then I'd sell it and give them back the money.

But at this point, I'd probably keep it. Being 16 and the fact that my job's only paying $9, with 4 hour shifts even on saturdays..I'm gonna get fired this month too :lol :(

Expected pay for this month = $400. It's only enough for gas and insurance for a month. Fuck. :(

Soooo many kids are lucky enough to be given their own car bought and paid for fully. Insured and gas too.

Unless you have your own job and are paying for ins+ gas, you wont get any respect here :p

my point is to get all the people that drives cars bought by their parents together and to stop all the people from making fun of us.

no one is making fun of anyone and the only reason people make fun of it is because these threads keep coming up.

there is a difference between driving a sunfire, neon, protege, echo or somthing like that which your parents bought for you, and a porsche boxster.
hell most parents dont drive cars as expensive as what your parents bought you.

that is why people rag on you, and rightfully so.

you dont know anything. you dont know the hard work and time that it takes to save up and buy a $10,000 car, let alone a $30,000+ car.
you can never truly appreciate what it took to get that car. i spent 2 years working to the bone and cutting back my spending on everything to buy my car. i know the blood sweat and tears that went into affording it.

you will never understand that part of it until you save up and buy your own car instead of having mommy and daddy buy you a car. i know i never did when i drove my parents car
