It's also a piece of shit mass transit system. It seriously took me three hours to get from my house in Langley to work in Vancouver. That included four busses and the skytrain. If I drove, it would take me fourty-five minutes during rush hour. Try living outside of any of the major Greater Vancouver cities and use Translink. You pretty much can't. If I tried to bus to where I got my new job, I'd be spending almost half the day getting there... as opposed to a half hour drive.

For some, catching a bus is simply not feasible.
