they look good dude. The color match is really close, you won't notice when they are on the car (whenever that'll be )

intake mani pics:

the first is the beginnings of the ports. the farthest to the left just needs some smoothing, but the port is matched. just have to bellmouth it and it will be done.

just showing the welds. a few good beads, a few contaminated ones. ive got to clean it up a bit and have him reweld a few parts. cast aluminum welded to 6061 is a bitch apparantly hehe

that looks awesome toby!

and Millsy i've had my targa for umm.. 6 years now? i'd rather have a sunroof or hardtop to be honest, the targa's flex too much.

but it is nice on hot days, until you end up stuck in traffic, haha.

It seems like the only good thing that the targa is there for is the hot days. Maybe one day I'll do a custom sunroof/moonroof.

I love the targa on hot days, but its starting to seem like more hassle than its worth. My solution is just to leave it off.

LOBO!!!

Anyways....
I find that in the summer I always find myself sort of wishing my car was a targa top, but then I'm glad that it's not. When I was looking for my car I looked until I found one in good shape that was a hard top.
The sunroof was an added bonus, but on the 87 it does have some quirks like because it slides inwards it doesn't really open all the way, there's a motor for it that sort of blocks a bit of vision out of the back window and the roof is an inch or so lower because of the framing for the thing.
But I still like the hardtop and glad I bought it, mainly because of the weather up here and how much it rains. But I think if I were to have a supra as a summer car only I might be tempted to sell this one and buy an 89+ with a targa or outward-sliding sunroof.

In other news... new clutch is now in the works, I just have to decide what to get. I want to order the spec 3 disk and act pressure plate - but time is a factor.
