im diggin the bomex sides and rear, but i want to do my own custom front end (well, modified stock). Duane at carbonfibrefx.com is making the turboA duct and possibly a front lip, im considering the turboA duct when i paint my car, possibly molded in...

i just dont think the ab flug suits the car... id prefer one-off custom metal fender flares... i just found out how to do them too

if you do some research, centerforce isnt better than stock.... the stock can hold around 300 rwhp easy, centerforce can barely hold stock power (200ish rwhp).... why waste money on a crappy clutch that you will have to replace in 6 months? just like those kumhos ryan, you get what you pay for....

whats the price on another stocker?

if moneys tight, maybe just getting another stocker would work out for ya.

altho from what ive heard the stock clutch heats up really good, so if you were racing, it would start slippin' alot sooner than a aftermarket

id still say try the Spec clutch if you can afford it... no ones had anything bad to say about it

ok i gona say this again the reson why poeple say that center froce clutches suck it cause they don't break em in proprly

if you don't they will slip and burn out if you do it right then you fine

there no fun to break it in you know you can't ever really drive on the road for frist littel bit

cause it go stop go stop go stop go stop power go power go stop very freaking crazy an anoting

you don't do this it will not seat and will bunr ti self out in mater of time

and that applies ot all cars that use the df clutch

even look on there web page they big warring about break in pired huge waoriring

and the kumose did there perpus in my cars life hat what you get when you get w rated tires but the belts going icky

400 is about the price of stocker

tell that to the people who broke it in properly and it still didnt hold the power. why cheap out? its only another $300 or so to get that TRD or the SPEC 2... call the place that fuzebox mentioned, $750 something for the TRD, no waiting..

good pic, but ya, get rid of those bugs... hey murray, found out it would be pretty cheap to add pearl to your car. as long as there is no bodywork involved (dents, etc) you could just wetsand your current paintjob, have it sprayed with pearl, and a few coats of clear. total cost in material would be around $200-300, plus payin someone to spray it. something to think about for the car shows next year...

at the moment, im thinking a very dark silver, possibly with white and blue pearl for my car...

base/clear is by far the best way to paint a vehicle. singlestage (one solid color, no clear) is ok for a cheaper paintjob, but every time you try to detail it (cutpolish/buff) it takes away some paint, and over time you get closer and closer to metal. with base/clear, the majority of scratches can be buffed out of the clear, never touching the color, and you can always add layers of clear down the road.

i just got an email back from House of Kolor, they suggest "Shimrin Black Pearls" that appear black and other colors depending on the light, so ill check those out sometime this week.

my review:

white supra: double decker wing looks like crap, stock is better, clear signals look hacked, you can buy premade ones that look decent, and murrays rims are better (just not wide enough hehe), i like the darkened tails on it though.

red supra: kit looks good accept for the sideskirts, and the wing is fugly. forward facing scoop is POINTLESS,just creats drag, it should be facing rear. and the wheels look the same as the white ones.... oh ya, and wtf? square foglights in ROUND holes??

and i already tried to convince murray to get a lip, but hes afraid of scraping, which is very possible with his H&Rs.

this is what im goin for with mine, clean and simple: http://www.overboost.com/pix.asp?ima...l/DSCN7175.jpg

Just put in my new eBay cone filter It only cost me $15 US!

Anyway, how's everyone doing? I've been away from this thread for way to long - it took me like an hour to go through all the posts since last time I posted! Your sub box looks sweet Toby, maybe I can get you to help me make that fibreglass headlight enclosure once I have enough cash to order those projectors.

First things first tho, Ryan I need to get that CV joint off you - mine sounds like shit and is starting to pull. Here's a pic of the leaky boot, I guess all the grease is gone cuz its grinding bad

Also, I need a new muffler, mine's got a death rattle whenever I give it gas. I was thinking of getting this one:

Or an N1 style muffler from Midas. I need something under $200. Any ideas?

Timpo: That red car is the Do-Luck kit, who makes the white one tho? It looks like the bomex side skirts, but I've never seen that rear skirt or the lip spoiler.
