I tried taking some pics while I was on a boat cruise with some people from work. It was getting dark so it was hard to shoot without a tripod, especially on a moving boat :D I know this photo came out a little bit blurry... I tried some things in photo shop like sharpening it, etc but I'm a noob so feel free to bash me :D ;)

Comments are welcome! :)

wohoo, fantastic capture. Maybe a 2/3 stop higher and it would of been perfect. In photoshop increase the saturation and try seperating the left with blue while the right with yellow/red. Add some unsharpen mask and give it a bigger black border

That tree on the left bothers me but I'm sure you wanted to keep the path as well.

Oh, good. I thought the quality was a bit lacking....I thought it was a bit bad for a 5D! Hehehe

Senna4ever 08-05-2006 01:46 AM

Sure, but only if your camera uses the Alpha mount!

Meowjin 08-05-2006 02:42 AM

psst.... i saw some sony alphas today... :D

Senna4ever 08-05-2006 02:49 AM

Yea, they're starting to be in stock. I don't want one...Rikaro was right...it has shitty high ISO quality.

Meowjin 08-05-2006 11:12 AM

well it has the same sensor from a d200, and nikon claims that theirs is better.

Senna4ever 08-05-2006 11:27 AM

Same sensor, but different electrical connections, apparently.
