hey guys these are epic pictures.

ive got a really quick question. total newb to photography, and i purchased a t2i with the stock 18-55mm lense, plus a 50mm portrait lens.

In order to take these kind of photos, do I need a better lens? also, are the majority of the photos listed in this thread (like the one of BC place) touched up with photoshop, or similar programs?

Like I said, total newb. But I am starting to really enjoy photography. Thanks!
