Cool kid! :D |
Wow, that kid is ballin! From a photo perspective, id say it is great...keep on doing what you're doing. Angle is good, keeps it interesting and kind of urban, along with your composition (brick wall, funky clothing). Lighting seems to be mostly good, although maybe the cheeks are a little bright. The only thing i would suggest is that next time, make him put his thumbs in his pockets, and hang there....itd add to the slickness ;) I think its a great shot, definitely a framer for you! |

as it is, its a cool shot, but fails to hold my interest for long. |
^timing is great, you don't see them do that very often But since the bird is the subject, you should expose for the bird, not the whole frame. You shot it using spot metering, yet the bird is a little underexposed? |
well I guess I can post a few more since it past 12 lol. Please help,I thought I was doin ok until I seen all your guys work, I need way more practice. I dont own any photoshop programs, are they realy necassary? I cant spell either lol. On with the pics. I walked around the trail taking a few pics here and there, and then walked up on these guys. When i got closer he starting flapping his wings twice and then jumped once. So when i put up the camera i didn't have time to change any functions or try to compose the shot. Since it was something that didn't happen to me ever (jumping and flapping) i just took the shot. He was also in the shade and i was in the super bright sun, so yes he is underexposed. Is this fixable in photoshop? Edit: The photo is cropped too. If i cropped for thirds there would be this really un-interesting tree. Its the best i could do. |

What's "AP Photo class"? |
advanced placement, its after any grade 12 level course. it should be lots of fun, theres no restrictions and i make my own theme for my assignments |
Wow I wish I had a AP photo course in high school. In fact, I regret not ever taking any photo classes at all. |
Deo, where's that last shot taken? Nice set of pics! |
^South side of False Creek |
dumb question.. when you use a long shutter speeds to take pictures of the waters at night, why doesn't the water look blury? ** Not necessarily just asking about false creek because the water doesn't move, but if you take pictures of the sky and have a long shutter speed, doesn't the clouds look blury because it's moving? |
