I"m verifying with him, lol. Was there an art director?

dub.dub 05-30-2007 09:12 PM

There's quite some glare in the first series.

I like the washed out look though. :)

I don't post in this forum that much. Mostly an admirer of the pictures people took. Here are pictures of a trip to LiJiang, Yunan, China. Very beautiful place. Check the pictures out and let me know what you guys think.

^ Your rule of 3rd apply really well. If you framed the second image a bit better with the animals and reflectin, it would of turned out way better

The hummingbirds in my back yard are starting to get used to the sound of my shutter :) I swear I better get a mid air shot by the end of the summer or I am gonna have to add some roofies to the feeder

The shadows falling across the little girl's face in the first and second sequnces bother me. The third series is great!

Senna4ever 05-31-2007 11:30 PM

Nice shot, Kyle...it's quite difficult to catch them while perched. Too bad its back is in shadow though. Can I come over sometime? ;)

MikesJo 05-31-2007 11:45 PM

Where were the last pics taken Jerry, on that dock thing?

nevermorez 05-31-2007 11:53 PM

It's in VanDusen Garden. :D

Yep. Mushrooms that were growing on a log in Stanley Park near Siwash Rock in a restricted area.

MikesJo 06-01-2007 12:46 AM

You had to say restricted area didn't you. :).

Senna4ever 06-01-2007 12:52 AM

Haha...well.....closed area. I'm going back on Monday during low tide. That's the only time one can go in there.

Senna4ever 06-01-2007 01:17 AM

You can see the damaged pavement at the bottom of the picture.

Sure, come over any time, they start hitting the feeder at around 5am, and usually leave around 9pm. Well I assume they leave, but I don't leave the lights on for them :)

Thats poppycock, you just have to be a little more adventurous about your fence climbing :) Tom and I went down there a few weeks ago for some shots

Is that the day you guys called me and I couldn't go? Which fence did you climb: the Third Beach side or Lion's Gate side?

Nice pic!

77civic1200 06-02-2007 06:09 AM

Thanks!

Senna: Third beach side, Tom went over, I went out and around the end. I wouldn't suggest my way unless you have strong hands, cause you can't use your feet at all :)

Yeah, there was no way I was going over...I had my big Lowepro bag on me. That's why I wanted to wait until low tide so I can just walk around the fence. Getting back before high tide would be mandatory though...or I take a bunch of food and drinks with me to wait it out! :p
