OH YEAH?! I'm going to go out and get a Hasselbad or a Phase One! I just need to go sell my car, a liver, and maybe a family member.

Meowjin 02-22-2009 03:13 AM

^I've actually shot with phase one medium format backs.

Edit: After looking back at the photos, i've noticed that a lot of the expressions and scenes are similar. I think i ran out of ideas like half way through.

The first thing I noticed is the guy's clenched fist. Then I check you other photos, and he's doing that in other shots too.

miss_crayon 02-22-2009 11:47 PM

Was at cousins for dinner, his gf made this pasta dish. It looks better than it tastes! Wish there was a bit more lighting, oh well i'm a noob. (I photoshopped the steam in to make it more appealing) :D

:lol Ouch!

My only criticisms would be that the white balance is too warm, and if you had shot it from slightly above the dish, it wouls have showed off the food more.

Armind 02-23-2009 10:21 PM

^ It was my first shot regarding food. Oh well, i'll try to remember that next time when I take a pic that's food related.

^ try not to use the on camera flash... it makes it look like a normal point and shoot shot. try using a external light source.

!Nhan 02-24-2009 11:54 AM

it was shot in my room and it's dimly lit and all i have is the flash on the camera lol

bikerx 02-24-2009 01:07 PM

^ rolfs use a tripod :D or if you don't have that use a pillow and put it on timmer :D tada " dramatic" lighting

caie-u 02-24-2009 01:31 PM

I havnt posted for a while, I still need lots of practice and some new equipment would be fun. But here are some pics I took the other day while I was bored at home. Shot with a stock Nikon d60. C&C greatly appreciated.

peazs 02-24-2009 09:51 PM

off topic: is the drink any good? :D

w00tgasm 02-24-2009 10:03 PM

White tea is my fav.

bikerx 02-24-2009 10:08 PM

i don't like that stuff. it leaves a weird after taste.

!Nhan 02-24-2009 10:43 PM

I like it. Tastes a lot like the Fuji Apples, more so than other green tea drinks and what not. Should also try the Mandarin Orange one. It's a white tea and it's good too

Matsuda 02-24-2009 10:51 PM

experimenting at my friends house with lighting. I don't have a lot of experience with using my external flash but I'm hoping to change that. Did this in one shot. Not a composite
