Just kidding, just keep it to maybe 10 images per post just so it's easier to navigate through. |
Sweet images Moky! Looks like such a beautiful place! I think with alot of places that you see photo's sometimes don't do it justice! That's awesome tho! |
|
Was that today? I didn't know your camera had the power to clear skies, coax out sunlight, part the Red Sea, etc. |

Nice photos Moky!! |
very nice photos Moky. I like the second photo in the first set you posted. |
Thanks Mana, Keitaro! here are a couple more i got to post while just lounging here in my hotel in LA 1. old St Mary's Cathedral, in Chinatown, San Francisco. i took this handheld with several shots stitched so i might have missed a part or two :D http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2791/...a2d3566f_b.jpg 2. Sheraton Fishermans' Wharf hallway. i liked the pattern it had and how it sort of felt like it was a very sea-going theme. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2685/...de0e9546_b.jpg 3. a typical street in downtown San Francisco. plenty of street wires, cars parked in all directions, and the slopes of the city. it was pretty foggy. took this while riding another cable car :D http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2623/...9441693f_b.jpg 4. dome of the exploratorium of the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2730/...ac562859_b.jpg 5. old castle walls. taken at Castello di Amorosa in Napa Valley http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2804/...90283f91_b.jpg 6. one of the open roads in Death Valley, sun was i think around 130 or 230pm? http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2747/...a6cca45e_b.jpg |
I love that hotel shot, and the clouds in the death valley one is great! |
nice! i just stayed at the same hotel 2 days ago while i was in san fran! pretty nice for $99. parking is op'ed though...... |
Note to self: go to Death Valley sometime...and take a large format camera! |
thanks Matsuda! to J__________ if you parked at the North Point centre parking, it's just around 25/night. that's what i did. hotel parking was ridiculously op'ed, you're right. to Senna, if you are going to death valley, it's nearer from the Las Vegas side than from California. I stayed in Bakersfield CA and it was a 4 hour at the least per way. |

first time taking pictures in low light http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2574/...21328516_b.jpg any tips? |
^ not really, that turned out quite nice! :) |
Watch out for dem 'gators! http://img37.imageshack.us/img37/1271/img3953m.jpg Took this while on the airboat tour at Sawgrass Recreational Park in the Everglades. Unfortunately none of them really wanted to come out and show themselves...all we got were a couple of eyes and a snout most of the time we did see an alligator. |
