??? There is no such filter or function called 'lightness' in PS. You mean brightness, or maybe fill light?

dutch 11-14-2009 10:45 AM

ctrl + u will get you some lightness

J____ 11-14-2009 12:05 PM

what version are you using? If CS4 you should be able to see it under the brightness/contrast adjustment section. I cant remember the exact section its under as i do it habitualy and i dont have cs4 on this laptop. There's other ways to do it but this is the easiest.

Ah, found it. Like this maybe?

I'll run these by the clients, but they were only planning to use the film shots.

bonjour, those are some nice church pics. P&S? Noise doesn't look that bad when it's small.

Yeah I had to go into manual mode and suppressed the ISO to 200, cuz I knew anything over that on a P&S would be a mess. They acutally still look pretty decent at full size, but of course nowhere near the details from pics taken with SLRs.

I was surprised that they allowed photography inside and church, as many tourists were flashing their cameras everywhere... kinda odd - guess they really need the money to keep it running (it's $5 to get in).

A bit too dark. I had to look really hard to see the dude jumping.

didnt look like it changed to me. lightness adjusts the shadows of the picture. gives a washed out look in the blacks therefore less contrast and image looks flat. u can do the same with gamma.

They wouldn't let me get on stage, only people who went on were the stage manager and his personal manager.

I set a two second timer on my camera, mounted it on a tripod and used that for all the fish eye shots. For the close ups, I used the 85 1.2, jumped on the railing were the crowed was held back and shot from there.

I wonder what the PNE photographer captured, she looked hopeless!
