Mingww, I really like that photo, very warm feeling to it. Almost dreamy, and without any blown highlights or blurring effects. Nice work.
thanks!:)

I suggest you pay it off.
The collection agency will harrass you for several months, and subsequently put a warrant for your arrest. Meanwhile, the interest rate on the ticket will continue to rise. It's not something that will go away after x number of years. When you're 35, and decide to drive down, they'll arrest you and hit you with a $15k ticket.

I got a $180 ticket in WA a while back. At first I laughed it off. Then cursed at the collection agents. Then, when the warrant for my arrest showed up, I called up and paid the fine - by which point the fine had tripled.

PS: It's not just for getting pulled over. You won't be able to get past customs. They'll detain you at the border.

really, when i read up it says 5 years and the shit goes away. they cant arrest me in vancouver, but if im in oregon they can.

Gopher 09-06-2006 04:48 PM

but why take chances? Especially if you're down there often...

2nd one is wicked!

Were you using the cameras selective colour feature?

Also how is unbc. A friend just went there and was regretting it at first but saying that I should come up to do my nursing there.

^^ Interesting shots... including both extreme warm and cold colors give an effect you don't really see that often

Smokey view...

all i see is a underexposed background. Sharpening needs to be applied and perhaps try a gradient layer on the bg to bring some color into the image.

FishTaco 09-07-2006 02:59 PM

thats forrest fire

[azn angel] 09-07-2006 03:24 PM

throw some amber into the sky perhaps. just looks drap with the white skyline and underfined forest fire in sight

Trail looks like smoke and mirrors and aline.

My focus uqickly goes to the leg pads in the first picture. Try getting a shot not so extreme from the side, but from one where you get the rider going off, while hes facing you where you can see both the start and the landing, and the distance apart from it.

But the angle is pretty good.

Second one is kinda awkward

dub.dub 09-08-2006 12:29 PM

lol looks like a kick :p

^^ I like the picture, but I find myself wishing you used a longer shutter time, so the water was a little softer to create more focus on the horizon.

nevermorez 09-08-2006 10:01 PM

Use a GND filter next time. You'll be suprised how the picture turns out. ;)

Way to expensive. I wanted to get one for the sigma but it was around 150 dollars.

Quick question. When you turn your cpl, it says you can achieve a diffrent effect... how does this work?
