Yeah, it's all about technique and upper body muscle. Takes a long time to get it right. I can do small pedal kicks, but Kevin (in the photo) has been riding for a long time and he rides God knows how many times a week... lol

all one try i actually took out some frames because it looked too busy horah for 8.5fps. but yeah hes going right to left...that'd b pretty gangster to go backwards left to right :D

and niforpix:yes thats kevin. his bike is coming in Sept i believe maybe sooner depending. but yeah he bought the mod for 400$ for the time being because he's lazy to get euro adapters for his street bike

niforpix 07-19-2007 12:19 PM

$400?? Holy crap that's sweet! Maybe I should buy it from him when he's done with it. Get my wife into trials :D lol

I think the first one would look better w/o that vignetting you have going there.

bikerx 07-24-2007 01:45 AM

thanks i'd probably PS it when i print ..but its actually my cokin filter and crap :( stupid 10-20mm on 1.3 crop is annoying, even at 20mm on a higher Fstop you'll see vig even without hood or anything now thats nutty!

MikesJo 07-24-2007 06:49 AM

Ahh it's your filter. Should get those drop in ones :).

bikerx 07-24-2007 10:37 AM

but they're not as coool ;) . i already got the super slim slide holder for Super wides but .. i guess its not slim enough :P

MikesJo 07-24-2007 11:27 AM

You have to get the larger holdr for the bigger filter sizes then a ring converter thingy so you don't vignette :).

I believe the hardcore landscape photographers use the drop in ones ;). Go tell them it's not as cool. lol.

burnabykid 07-24-2007 12:21 PM

I see dust specs on those last shots, maybe time to clean your sensor or maybe its on the lens/filter? Nice shots especially the ones of your hike.

thanks :) but those are actually mosquitoes and flies ;) i think it adds to the epicness of the picture;) Rofls

burnabykid 07-24-2007 02:33 PM

^Damn bugs! but i guess its one of those sacrifices you make for the shot.

Mananetwork 07-24-2007 02:50 PM

I'm loving your shots jason. I think they've gotten better over the years!

MikesJo 07-24-2007 02:55 PM

He loves macro. And yes I've also noticed an improvement from last year.

Go sell that BC Ferries shot to them :).

Meowjin 07-24-2007 07:57 PM

Unedited shots that my friend posted on the net. I took these. I have better ones that I like, but each file is about like 30 megs each and i dont have much hd space left to edit them.

and I guess since its for "portfolio purposes" i can post them.

Senna4ever 07-24-2007 08:00 PM

Thanks, guys. I like the BC Ferries shot because all of the elements are in horizontal layers. Although macro is one of my fortes, I'd like to work on portraiture more.

Meowjin 07-24-2007 08:12 PM

Senna if you need help, just send me a pm. You can assist me with headshots ;)

Senna4ever 07-24-2007 08:16 PM
