http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4095/...9d94aee1_z.jpg Went to false creek today and tried tried to take a panoramic shot with no tripod. I laid my camera down on the ledge and ended up with this. I will definitely come back with a tripod next time in hopes for a better picture! Any tips for stitching a panoramic picture together? I had too much trouble doing it with this so I ended up going with the photoshop automerge :( |
^^ love that pic dude. |

^hehe cute photos! Went downtown today again, wanted to take pictures of central library but they didn't turn out exactly how I wanted them. Gonna go back when it isn't such a cloudy day. Here are the other shots that I got though: http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4098/...2bb3716d_z.jpg http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4142/...44738c15_z.jpg There was a band performing in the Granville and Georgia area across from london drugs. It was pretty sweet! Snapped this pick while they were setting up. http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4137/...e72c8b29_z.jpg |

$21+$15 shipping on ebay. I dunno what so popular about this but I feel like I need one. |
Just bought one. Now I want the bigger version as well...and there's a 7-11 version of it  |
Yea dude. It's JDM yo! I also purchased mine from eBay.com. Got it shipped to my mailbox in Blaine, WA. It took a week to ship. Really quick I'd say for over seas. $21 plus $15 USD to ship. Look for eBay user name: fununiverse. I got mine from that seller. Collect five of them to make the super duper version of Danbo. It's out of hand duuuude!! http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4120/...3b40dde4_z.jpg http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4135/...a587e82f_z.jpg |
fuk... $35 for that thing? |
Ah, so it's a poseable action figure made from carboard boxes. Is it an Amazon Japan mascot? Kinda cool.. |
It does look pretty cute guess if i had to say. I honestly wouldn't pay good money for one. I'd download a pdf where i could cut out my own cardboard version of one, if that's around. Whoever creates these things must be laughing all the way to the bank! Cool pictures are him so far! I like the one in the shower, very creative! Instead of people testing lens sharpness of taking a picture of the box the lens came in, they can now use this! How exciting!!! Edit: I just double checked his name in a few posts above, and really? That's one hell of a name for a cardboard guy.. |
^^ makes sense. i'd also print out a pdf version of this cardboard thing, but if i'd be going to all the trouble to print out something and do origami-like folding, then i'd spend my time doing that epson nsx jgtc scale (mini version) that was posted on VAC :) @euro - the flower one is pretty cool :D |
its not cardboard material. its plastic that looks like cardboard. |
http://www.cubeecraft.com/ has some pretty cool little things that you can print and cut. I'm not sure if they have danbo I haven't really been on the site in a while haha. Anyways was in downtown again with my camera and here are some pics. Went to the library again and got a much better pic than I did yesterday imo: http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4082/...7a9163e7_z.jpg Kutapira you guys need to check them out! They are honestly AMAZING. Their music is awesome and they always manage to draw a crowd. If you haven't heard them before you should really try to. They usually play on robson and granville infront of FS but I'm not sure what times they go. http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4074/...8ee74028_z.jpg http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4094/...2a9d299a_z.jpg http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4134/...7fbae535_z.jpg Didn't know you weren't allowed to take pics in the library but I went ahead and took one inside and turned out to be my favorite of the day! |
