The pictures is from the San Diago Sea World. Just came back from there few hours ago 
Here's one from Universal Studios. Just a bunch of stairs going up to the top of the place. I thought it was a funky design. No time to edit much. Just cropped it.

so i wait all night to wake up and try out my new camera, charged the battery up and was ready to go out.1 minute after i go outside it starts pouring rain, im pretty choked but i managed to get 1 photo leaving the backyard, my first slr photo

xxx19, nice angle, but I would have found the shot more interesting if you'd followed the rule of thirds. Having the sign centered takes away from it. IMO anyways...

What course is that for? Your leading is all over the place ron . The two different fonts and font size in the title don't work either.
Your headlines on the left would look better if you moved them in closer from the left side. Try changing the yellow type to something more readable as well.

it was just for fun, i have absolutely no clue about proper publishing layouts and techniques - I randomly grabbed some magazines at home and basically just mimic the layout.
i took the pic but then thought the sky was kinda boring (it was cloudy) but didn't want to add any fake clouds, so I thought hey what the heck, it might look interesting as a cover.
