^^^ Not bad, but you need to balance the exposure for the flame versus the exposure for the cityscape. When did you take this? Last week sometime? I like the clouds in the sky.

Not really. If you jack up the ISO, and use a little bit of creative post processing, you can get that effect. With a small, 900px image it would be difficult to tell.

I'd like to try taking the same photo, what do you do, pop an ND filter on, wait for 9 o clock to roll around and take a 30 long exposure, hoping to catch it?

Need to wear earplugs so you don't go deaf?

Liquid, there is a 10 second timer, lights blinking. I usually have a shutter speed of around 20 seconds or so, and press the shutter when the red lights start going. I also expose for the lights in the building before the blast. Usually around the same lighting as the flame which you want to catch. Make sense?

oh alrites. thanks. anyways took that after 2 days me and my buddy talked to you. you were using your hasselblad at that time. you explained that it had a timer just before it fires. lol. i told you that i know of some guy in forums called "revscene" that uses hasselblad too. and you were like "oh yah, thats me." haha
