I see sensor dusts...how bad is yours? |
Picked up a Leica M6 TTL 2 months ago and began shooting film. Coming from a 5D2 I was blown away by the range and colors straight out of development. Its so forgiving and the detail is retained everywhere. I used Kodak Portra 400 (the only film I'll ever shoot on now) rated at 400 ISO. Even the night shots were taken handheld at f/1.4 1/30th at 400 ISO. I used a Voigtlander 35mm f/1.4. Excuse the crooked horizons and such, I didn't touch any of the images once I got them back from the lab. I won't even touch my digital cameras anymore for stuff like this cause I spend half my time at home sorting and editing. You pick your shots more carefully and its so fun getting it back and forgetting you even took it. Some shots I took in Portland and Cannon Beach mid October. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8201/8...f3339967_b.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8059/8...63319ae3_b.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8482/8...5e54d99e_b.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8490/8...d05b60e2_b.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8200/8...7725b7c0_b.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8198/8...b375a186_b.jpg |
^^^ Welcome to the Leica club! Unlike you, I have never shot a roll of colour film in mine - just B&W. :) My M6 Titanium, 35mm f1.4 Summilux Titanium + 90mm f2.8 http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...s/PICT8911.jpg |

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...I/IMG_8372.jpg A co-worker and I did some charity work at the Marble Arch Hotel last week. We took Xmas photos of the residents there and also took some Fuji Instax (like a Polaroid) shots too. The deplorable living conditions that they are forced to live in are horrific, and I felt bad for them, but the people were really nice and grateful and it was actually fun to do. We took a full blown studio set-up, so we had to be a little vigilant in case someone tried taking off with our gear, but everything turned out ok. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...I/IMG_8756.jpg |
