Yeah after looking at it more, I think it's a bit too distracting as well. There is a second version where I stood up a bit taller to hide the flash more that works much better. Maybe it's just me.. but maybe unless people ask for it, why critique the photo? I'm not here to judge, I'm here to enjoy.
On that note, I'm fine if anyone has any feedback, but maybe not everyone has that viewpoint.
It's all personal taste. I find your engagement photos to be just fine... something different.

I said that I really enjoyed the first two and gave some constructive criticism on the third. I guess in my eyes the reason we are all here is to learn from each other and improve our craft, not to just receive e-props and bolster our egos. I have learned a lot from the talented members of this forum and believe it's mostly because of their input both on my own photos and on others' photos.
