I was just lucky as the deer were not afraid or even distracted by people at all. They just saw us and kept wandering around as if we weren't there which helped the shot. I shot with this an 85mm f1.4 and then cropped the hell out of it lol.

if you spook them or they go to run, Whistle at them
90% of the time they will turn back and look
