I picked up a Canon S110 for $179 last month because I didn't want to lug a DSLR around on vacation anymore. Same reason I didn't take my 5D3 on my last trip. Actually, I was on the Allure of the Sea. Where'd you go? I'm planning on buying a X-T1 as a second camera/vacation camera but I found I got by with my GoPro and phone alright. |
On the Oasis. Bahamas, St Thomas and St Maarten. They're big ass boats, took me a week to figure out my way around the ship. It was quite liberating, having 2 hands free while I walked around. The wifi feature is handy and the touchscreen to focus/capture works just like a cell phone. I brought my GoPro as well, water was alright in the Bahamas, not as clear as some other places I've been to tho.
