so i tried taking a pic o this flower the other day, and im trying to get a better hang of PP in lightroom I like how this one ended up, i turned the contrast down to -100 https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/707/22...735e4601_z.jpg But people i've shown it to prefers this one with the contrast turned up a bit (+35) Spoiler! trying to read some tutorials and watch some vids on LR use but so far i haven't found any good channels or lessons suggestions? |

So I was taking some night photos up at Garibaldi Lake a few months ago and forgot to ask this question. Why are my photos turning out blue on high temp kelvin? This shot was taken at 6200 kelvin but looks like 2700 kelvin. My camera I used at that time was Nikon D300 with Nikon 17-55. That WB looks about right to me? You aren't going to change the color of the night sky or the reflected glow on the mountains by changing your WB. Its for adjusting the whites back to proper white. You would need a proper white light source to check that, and I don't think the light in the foreground is going to work |
