so I was DD tonight. I downtown pick up four ppl drop them all off. 1 oakbay, 1 gorden head, 1 blenkensop and 1 near claremont. Its 3:30am by the time this is all done (they were hungry too) on my way back home I'm following Royal Oak Dr. and I see this couple on Royal Oak Dr and Royal Oak Ave flag me down. Apparently they had been standing there for 1/2 hour and the cab companies were all busy. I offer them a lift home, guy says yes right away girl is apprehensive. I tell her I was just playing DD whats two more? They jump in. They try making small talk, guy asks if I'm a weirdo....anyway so he tells me he is a beer rep and he is going to hook me up large. I shrug it off like he is trying to impress me. I drop them off by larchwood (off feltham so maybe a 7-8 min drive) and he tells me to wait and he'll grab me some beer. He comes walking out with 2X 24cases, a shirt, a toque and two duffel bags. It pays to be nice I suppose :) |
