It's all because you touch yourself at night.

Storytime with GIRL.

So last weekend I was at this bar on the island...forgot what it's called. Anyways got alil tipsy...got alil flirty. Met this guy named Steve. HUUUUGE and I really don't mean his built either...if u know what I'm sayin ;) anyways. Brown hair, italian, apparently he's really into cars and builds and races them. FUNNY as hell, I just remember him belting out random songs that night and cracking jokes and ordering girly drinks before I got shatfaced.

Anyways we hit it off really well...too well. Woke up the next morning in my hotel room and he was gone and he left me with a note saying the following:

"great time last night ;) come find me and maybe we'll do it some time soon again...this time you better be hoarse from the screaming.

Stevey R #5 Victoria

PS. enjoy your ride back to the mainland sugar"

Anyone know of a Steve R whose totally into cars on the Island?

w00t....I just got offered a free trip to Kenya...all I gotta do now is convince work to pay me while I'm there ;)

can't wait!!! Feb '08 Nairobi biatchezzzz!!!

metal 08-23-2007 08:55 PM

Kenya eh, for how long?

I'll just carry my clear visor in my helmet sack and put it against the side of my body and tie the draw string around my shoulder if I really need it.

ForFoxSake! 08-24-2007 02:21 PM

depends on how long I can convince my work to let me go for...realistically, I'm hoping for three weeks :)

stevo911_ 08-24-2007 08:34 PM

what i dont get is why your not allowed to have have smoked or tinted frontwards windows because you cant make eyecontact with other drivers etc... but you're allowed to have tinted visors?

on another note, Superbad Is Superawesome, funniest movie evar!

ForFoxSake! 08-24-2007 09:56 PM

I think part of the reasoning behind it is that if an accident happens the tint will hold the glass together, messing things up...instead of letting it explode outward like it's supposed to...

I don't think (I may be wrong) that tinted visors use a film...and even if they did it wouldnt' be that much of an issue since it's different from auto glass...

I know about the glass breakage effects and all that jazz (i've been doing glazing for a little while now so i get to deal with all sorts of broken glass, tempered and not) the visors are a dye'd plastic so there isnt a film added to them, and they're polycarbonate or acrylic or something similar so they're not gonna shatter anyways (plus if your head goes thru your visor you're gonna have much bigger issues than cuts)
one of the reasons i've been given about tint being illegal is making eye contact with pedestrians and other drivers (among others) and i just think its weird they allow it :p (granted you cant always wear sunglasses under a helmet either)

Gigarange 08-25-2007 01:49 AM

the reason for not having tinted front windows has more to do with the police being able to see the driver during a traffic stop more then it does anything to do with making eye contact with pedestrians.
