I'm trying to figure out why the rubber strip on the side looks like it was drawn free hand in MS Paint... Did it actually look that bad in person?

^^ Yeah, it was Plastidip. Didn't see the other side, so I don't know if it's temporary or what. The trunk and hood was also blotchy from a bad spray job.

It's been the same for the past year, the 325ci badge is made out of poorly traced vinyl.

That's a serious BBK he's got on there. Why spend that kind of money, and then wreck the rest of the car like that?

It makes no sense. Nobody steps back after completing their car in dimpled vinyl or w/e, and then is like "Yessss, this is the exact look I was going for".

Maybe they came with the car when he bought it?

You're right maybe they did, but certainly not from the factory, those are M-Car brakes, and that is definitely not an M-car.

So somewhere along the way someone put some nice brakes (and likely a few other high end mods) on the car, only to have this clown come and turn it into some sort of sideshow freak car.

Again what a shame...

The other option is those are some of those fake "stick on" brakes, but if they look the right size for M brakes then maybe not.

If it's all dip and vinyl at least it's removable, if nothing else I love those products because they save a lot of cars from ugly paint jobs.
