is there any way to backtrace someones IP on the PS3 to scare them when they're being a teamkilling douche?

I'm getting a ps3 slim. I backed up all of my ps3 data onto an external hd. Now when I transfer all that info onto the slim, will I keep my psn friends or do I have to re-add them? Quote:

they're attached to your account, so no need. your messages don't carry over with your account tho, they stay on the console they're opened on/sent to.

everything copied over except the install data so FYI if you back up all your shit, you'll still have to do the installs on the games that require it. Also I don't get why there's still a PS2 memory card option for non BC ps3's. I assumed that the data from my ps2 saves from my 60 gig would be backed up and transfered onto my new slim but that wasnt the case. Weird that they even have that option there

Well all PS3's can play PSX games, on my slim the Memory Card Utility is labeled (PS/PS2) so yeah. And there's a rumour that Sony is going to make software backwards compatibilty for PS2 games but that's doubtful.
