anybody purchased the Motorstorm yet??
I just bought one from Best buy..
but i read up ppl's reviews on the fourm from IGN and Gamespot
they all had negative reviews about the game..being too hard..and how CPU tryies to cheat catching up..
Making me iffy if i should open up the game or not..

From the demo i thought it was pretty retarded.. Bought Formula One instead... This seems like more of a challenging game where it will feel like you accomplished something if you get good at it.. Motorstorm just feels like if you memorize the jumps and shortcuts, you can do well.

hmmm...
I bought Formula 1 as well...but 2nd day i sold it
For some odd reason i was not digging the graphics.. 
i thougoht dirt racing is kind of neat.....its good that once in awhile....finally something different

No seriously... When it gets to the point where you care more about the graphics than the game.. Maybe you should go to a park or something and look at some flowers... Real life has the best graphics of all

1080p Upscaling for DVD on PS3
Latest firmware update adds 1080p upscaling for PSone and PS2 games too.

UK, May 23, 2007 - Sony has announced that the latest version of the PlayStation 3 firmware - available to download on May 24 - upscales PlayStation and PlayStation 2 games and DVD movies to full 1080p HD resolution.
Firmware 1.80 also enables users on a home network to use the PS3 to view images, listen to music or play videos, which are stored on their DLNA3 devices (including PCs and laptops) elsewhere in the house. source

The PS3 1.8 firmware is here, and it adds some cool features. One of the cooler features that you can use today is that it streams media from Windows natively now! Sweet | |

upconversion of PS1/2 games is kinda shitty. it's higher resolution, but everything is smaller now. no more widescreen, it's letterbox smack in the middle. DVDs look nice tho

^ huh? i find the ps2 grahpic looks similar to playing on the ps2 with my ps3 if not better ~ and i have no problem with the screen size.. what to you mean no more widescreen?
