killzone 2 and RE5 are 59.99. I bought COD, Prince of Persia and Silent Hill for 59.99 brand new from ebgames.
dont buy games from futureshop or bestbuy, they sell their brand new games for 69.99

wtf.. my PS3 isnt reading blurays for some reason..
I put in my brand new transformers BR and it just goes to a blank black screen and wont load, then i put in my old dark knight BR which ive watched fairly recently and it does the same thing..
also when i put in a game, it tries to load it, then it beeps 3 times and resets..
WTF..it's doing a full format/restore right now so i will try that, hopefully my stupid drive isnt done or somthing..

Looks like you got the infamous Ps3 problem (Sony doesn't recognize it but alot of people have it).  Do you still have warranty?

I bought my ps3 from eb probably around a year ago , would it still be under warantee? Who/where do I call to get them to send me a box or w/e to send it in?

hmm weird.. i did a full system restore over night, and now it's playing everything again, BR's, games, etc.

Usually if it's under warranty, contact Sony directly. They will usually send you a box a few days later. They are usually quite quick with repairs. Most of the time, the problem is resolved by restoring the system, if it is indeed the blu-ray diode/laser and you don't have warranty. Sony is charging about 250 for the fix. If not just head to places like crystal mall to fix it. If you're mechanically and electronically inclined you can buy the laser yourself and install it. Good thing I bought a 2 year warranty on top of the 1 year (3 years).
