The game isn't supposed to be released until the 13th. I even got a big notice at work from EA saying not to put out the new '08 stuff until that day.

Good reason we don't get it on the release day. I've had so many people ask me to get it for them. It would be madness at work

Why all the hype for NHL 08?

Nobody likes NHL2K8?
I've always liked the 2K series more, this year 08 is better?

Any experiences or ideas on which is better and why?

2k7 totally sucked

the character animations looked brutal

from playing the demo, i really like this years 08,

even ign gave a higher score to to 08 then 2k8,

2k has always gotten a better score in the past

im downloading both ea08 and 2k8 for 360 but if they're as good as I think they're going to be, i'll be buying them for ps3

anyways i've been playing for about an hour just trying to get a hang of the controller stick style, i'm gettin used to it

anyways, it doesnt seem like there is very much content in terms of Creating a player etc. such limited face's, looks, etc.

anyone know if they will be releasing packs of additions?
