So i guess at least i aint the only one that complains about the ridiculous control.... mind u i was playing the Xbox 360 version...which seems worse .....didnt play the ps3 version but all i know is on the 360 version it fucking sucks...


anyone who play 2k7 NHL on ps3 will know how much more sense the control is....yet i just wonna know...

this game is a blast to play. you guys must not be very bright if you can't figure out the controls, because the skill stick OWNS the hell out of that shitty ass "PRO STICK" crap from 2k8. the classic controls suit me perfectly fine. i'm not sure how the 360 version "seems worse" than the ps3 one when they're the exact same game.

only thing i wish they did was add the block passing lane button to the classic controls, then it would be perfect. oh and my other complaint is that the computer cycles the puck way too fast at superhuman speeds while my teammates just stand there watching.

you have to apply the patch downloaded from ea. there's no mynhl in the pc version. and if you have a cracked version. you'll need the original exe file and the hacked patch/exe file or else it won't work

it's also because the poke checking is gay and a hassle to do

poke checking is a little tricky in the default controls but like VR6GTI said, it's only a push of a button if you change them to classic.

damn, im tempted to go buy and xbox360 so i can play this game..lol

its 1 of the best EA NHL games ever made, the skating is pretty damn cool. Only thing they need to work on is deflections i'm not sure how they are going to improve next year.

i'm down for a league i guess..

i played 2 more games of my dynasty today and felt A LITTLE bit better about the game

the replays still really tick me off, as sometimes it doesnt even show the play which just occured, rather an earlier one, even if the one that just happened was an awsome one :(

Ya i noticed that aswell, im not sure why but when you hit a post and it goes into the stands how come it never shows the replay, some of those are best replays.

still getting used to it after only playing nhl on ps2.
as for deflections, just use slap pass!

does anyone else have this problem on xbox live?

every time i try play a ranked or unranked game on live, it stops and searches for roster updates, theres ALWAYS a roster update that i have to download every single time, and it takes long, causing my opponent that i would be matched up against, to leave

its really frustrating and just started happening yesterday

before yesterday, it would just search for a roster update during the first game i play after i turn on the system, but now it searches every time i wanna start a new game

^ playing online with the PS3 the same thing happens to me everytime

can ps3 nhl08 play with nhl08 xbox360 people?

all i need to find, is a good batch of the 360's.

its not going to happen, people in the US who have the better chip and heat sinks are reporting that they still get RROD. People that have sent them in still get the RROD's because really the 360 is just a 1 big bag of crap but on the other hand it has some of the best games and online ever. So you're fucked who doesnt want 1.

ahh damn! I thought by waiting for the new chip/heatsink to be released in canada would help prevent the RROD! I even thought about buying the 360 in the US.

Its going to help prevent it but its still happening.

k i think i found a temporary fix,

delete your online roster file from your files and then once u play ur first game it'll re-download em and after that it'll stop downloading

but i heard it comes back after a while
