I never knew nikon sold lens in this color. This is a 70-200 2.8 made in Japan. Saving up for one. Not sure about the color though... reminds me of Canon's lens.

What do you guys recommend for a Camera bag? I'm looking towards a backpack kind.
I was looking at this one http://www.dakine.com/snowboard/pack...mission-photo/

Kinda looking for something that can hold my work clothing and what not with extra spacing and all.

Anybody else have the Nikon 35mm 1.8?
I just picked one up but its pretty loud when focusing. Its supposed to be a SWM lens too, but its almost as loud as the Tokina 11-16 when focusing.

No way?
Ive had a Canon variant and a Nikon variant of the Tokina 11-16, they both had pronounced AF noises. Strange.

Im going to go exchange my 35mm. Discussions online indicate that they should be close to, if not, silent. =/

way. my Sigma 50mm, i can hear it crunching away while focusing, i hear the IS on my long Canon, but almost nothing on the Tokina.

isn't that on of the features on that Nikon lens you're talking about, "Silent Wave Motor".

The Tokina 11-16mm is not silent. It's a noisy motor driven lens... its not a USM, or a HSM, or a AF-S type lens. If yours is silent.. it must be a defected one!

Dollar stores are probably the cheapest bet, but places with camping supplies should have them as well, canadian tire ect.

It didn't sound too loud when I was testing it in the store. I have a 50mm 1.4 and although it is great for low light and bokeh, it is too long indoors for my D90. I want sell it and get the 35mm 1.8G as my walkaround lens. What are people's thoughts?
