| I know! It's not like we'd ever use our lenses for more than one purpose.
I don't know about you, but I willingly spend $1700+ on a lens and then glue the aperture ring at its widest setting. If I'm going to switch to another subject, I just swap lenses. My lens bag is actually nothing but sixteen 50mm lenses, with aperture rings all epoxied at different positions. | LOL

Nikon & Sony both have flash systems that are vastly superior to canon, especially the wireless system. I don't get why canon doesn't incorporate wireless capability into the bodies like Nikon & Sony. The new Nikon SB900 and Sony HVL-F58AM flashes have increased sensitivity to the wireless signal so they can be used outdoors in daylight, although the range is still limited compared to radio triggers. http://www.dpreview.com/news/0806/08...nyhvlf58am.asp http://www.dpreview.com/news/0807/08...nikonsb900.asp

....aaaand some bad news on the Pocket Wizard TTL front. They have been delayed again. The canon versions are delayed a few weeks...the Nikon versions are delayed until OCTOBER!!! Bloody hell. Many clients are pissed off.

Does anyone want to teach me how to clean my sensor or do it for me?
Look at this..........dang.
# Exposure Time (1 / Shutter Speed) = 1/25 second = 0.04 second
# Lens F-Number/F-Stop = 22/1 = F22
# ISO Speed Ratings = 200
Oh yea, it's from my 30D with a Tokina 11-16.

You can keep buying $15 tripods at XS Cargo and have to replace them every year, or you can drop a couple bills on a Manny and it'll outlast your next three cameras, and you'll never have to worry about it flexing or shifting or shaking under the weight. Tripod technology hasn't really changed in about 8000 years, so you're not missing anything by not "upgrading" every six months.
