So, does anyone know where to go to get your picture ID done for sfu? I dont wanna go to the orientation lolz

On your first day of classes, if you walk into the Maggie Benson Center, there will be signs posted as to where to get your ID as well as Upass. There are signs posted up elsewhere in the school but I don't remember where but they're definitely in the MBC.

Yushimi 07-11-2008 01:38 PM

^^^ Hmm alright! Thanks Alphamale =]

Shaaawty: Go play facebook poker?...lolz

moomooCow 07-11-2008 01:42 PM

Hmmmmm still undecided on parking, but thanks Yushimi!

Another question now, anyone know when we can get our ID's? ( earliest ) I'm going to Japan and I might need it ;). Thanks in advance!

Yushimi 07-11-2008 02:19 PM

^^^ Lolz no problem, anytime =] You can get it on Aug 26th and 27th cuz that's when the orientation is. I think that should be the earliest date =] hope that helped...again lolz

Depends which one you get. Is the the one with the whole housing, if so that's basically just switching. If it's just the shifter then it'll probably take a bit more work.

C-pillar bar: unbolt 2 seatbelt bolts, install, rebolt - 10 min MAX
Short shifter:
Bolt-on: 15 mins
Drill: 25 mins

buy books online...like now(takes two weeks to deliever) ...problem is, some profs might end up telling you, you dont need the books or might use different ones
etc etc

abebooks.com

is a good site for one

lilaznviper 07-13-2008 05:32 PM

just buy like b4 your oreintations best time since no one really buys it
econ 103 i think you have to buy it since there is a code for the course for online assignmnet

Yushimi 07-13-2008 09:04 PM

Use different ones? Then what's the point of telling you to get it in the first place. Gosh lolz

Online assignment? Oh noes =\ really?!

lilaznviper 07-13-2008 10:30 PM

online assignment was very easy just for extra marks since most econ classes have a freaken huge ass average

my econ 105 class midterm average was like 48/50

Fuck, never buy books early. Buy them the 1st or 2nd week of classes USED. Unless you need an access code, it might work out to be better just to buy new. www.saveonbook.com Best shit ever.

Raid3n 07-13-2008 11:50 PM

at BCIT i bought all my books off 2nd yr students for less than 1/2 what the bookstore wanted for them.

wait till your prof's tell you what books to buy and which to just get e-books of.

yeah... doesn't always work, but I bought mine just after orientation LOL... i go with the rush, and it works out.

Yushimi 07-14-2008 08:43 AM

wait. If I get a used book and it has an old access code, I cant use it?
Yea, I might as well get used. Can I claim it in my taxes though? I thought they only allow you to claim new books =( someone straighten this out please lolz I'm so confused.
