yea i know about fpa104 already.. what im asking is.. is EASC101 fair? ie what you give is what you get? none of this bs final screwed everyone type stuff. it has a 3 hour lab section so im guessing that the TA will be doing most of the teaching midterm/final marking? Prof is "Brent Ward" no RMP info

4PPLE 07-17-2008 09:23 PM

where is ERIC!

k20a 07-17-2008 10:04 PM

Don't worry, I'm keeping an eye on this thread. Nokya H11 fog bulbs went in today and it's hella yellow and bright. lol But I think it's sorta of not straight, perhaps i should aim it soon?

no RMP info? I dont know if thats a good thing. I had friends who took it and they dont recommend it. Then again. I dont know which prof they took it with. Well if you got a high A. Like atleast 94% then go for it. If its a 86%-90% A, dont take it. Those labs are a pain in the ass. Its not fun. About the final and midterm, all I know the midterm wasn't the best. Then again, I dont know which prof they had.

There really isn't a need to aim them if they are the right bulbs, and you haven't REALLY done anywork on headlights/accidents.

I've been pulled over for those super yellow lights actually... didn't know those were illegal.

Fuck, Speedcraft is having a hell of a time with my hood, they claimed they cleared it twice, and it still has some pin-hole effect... I really want it done -.-

Raid3n 07-18-2008 04:13 PM

they aren't illegal.

you're allowed fog lamps, and they have to be either amber or white.

and yes foglights need to be aimed. they are supposed to be aimed low.

it's true, as much as I'm running a T1R b-pipe... it's not the greatest... the supposed stainless steel..... is corroding nicely..

I got to caught up installing it, and my hands were too dirty to hold hte camera. LOL

T1R isn't the best stuff around, but it depends on WHICH stuff. Like exhaust, header, b-pipe I'm sure they're pretty decent and not a bad choice. It's just antoehr brand right?

tofu1413 07-20-2008 12:41 AM

i better start my tofu branded line of products then...

i really wonder what that T1R stuff is made of.. i mean diggy's B pipe.. come on.

Tim Budong 07-20-2008 02:41 AM

As far as im concerned, it's an OK product. It does what it's there for, but advertising it as full stainless steel, same as the Spoon chunk, and it showing tons of corrosion vs nothing at all on the Spoon part... is just... annoying to say none the least....

Raid3n 07-20-2008 06:04 PM

might be galvanized steel not SS

k20a 07-20-2008 08:52 PM

Anybody know if Torque Dampers are actually effective??

Tim Budong 07-20-2008 09:24 PM

heres my rundown of what will be of my FAST before 2008!

Lowered..
front/rear lip and sideskirts

possible rims..

CF the interior...tat was gonna be last, now the front dash could be done by month's end!

Raid3n 07-20-2008 11:38 PM

torque dampeners work, but not as well as solid motor mounts. they stop a good deal of the movement, but then the movement will be transferred to your motor mounts.

so the brace would be about 75% engine movement reduction
solid mounts would be like 90%

the mounts take more work, but they are a better buy imo...

the brace is just engine bling ;D
