k20a 07-23-2008 12:59 PM

LOL. maybe we should all group buy a Seibon CF. I kinda want a CF hood now too but still too expensive. RAWRRR

Shun Izaki 07-23-2008 01:31 PM

Gemini hood ftw XD

Tim Budong 07-23-2008 01:58 PM

probably oem style
not sure
haaha
but if i CF the car now..its sorta pointless
that means i gotta CF the front grille and rear valance in order for the car to look decent

You need to stop the RICE
and start the AWESOMENESS

Tim Budong 07-24-2008 03:39 AM

my oem styling already works ur RSX with NOTHING done to the engine
xept i threw in alloys valve thingy majig which replaces some plastic/rubber part where the air RIPS through..did the same thing in my previous car..and after i replaced the part, it never failed in the 7yrs i had it

this is the BIGGEST difference between a STOCK usdm GTI vs a EUROSPEC GTI

some parts are made either..cheaper...or just not as useful

ie.. foglight grille covers..
in EU..they actually have HOLES for air to be taken in..in US..they are ALL sealed offf

and rmb..tis is OEM parts..

Raid3n 07-24-2008 04:06 AM

the Osir bumper looks good =o

Fixed it for ya ;)
I'm not a fan personally of most CF, cuz alot of the time it's very overdone. Little accents and pieces here and there are cool... but when u see CF hood, trunk hatch, and fully CF'ed interior, it makes me throw up in my mouth a lil bit...
Do any of you guys know if its possible to finish/paint a CF hood to cover up the whole fiber weave look...?

Raid3n 07-25-2008 04:38 PM

yes, the weave is coated with resin, so you just paint over the resin.
