I have a pair of New standards but I'm unsure as when I wear them overtime it'll stretch too much. Currently it is tight to my waist but not too tight that it begins hurting my waist.

if you can get them on without too much trouble they'll stretch out and be too big some day.

My rule with APC is you should barely be able to button up the top button

mine are a 27 and have stretched out to about a 30.5.

I could only button one button pulling it all the way up my waist when i first got it. now i can wear it below my waist, all 5 buttons with ease.

also, for those PS blacks, how do they "fade"?

Any decent tailor should be able to do this. I took mine to Albert's and he had mine done in 10 mins while I waited.

IMO there are nicer, more appealing fades out there but I have never seen such crazy contrast on any pair of denim

The contrast is too extreme for my taste. Maybe it's the denim itself? Or maybe he sandpaper'd it

Anyone interested in a pair of APC Rescues? 36 waist, not hemmed (but cuffed). Worn around 3 months, but not daily. Whiskers just coming in.

Back looks good but something is off with the front, it doesn't look natural. Maybe the guy only ran in those jeans.

kiya from self edge on jeans

http://httpthecrosbypressjackthreadscom20130104

i have to agree with his main point. jeans are tough and you dont have to be so caught up over how you take care of them. if they're dirty, wash em. if they're not, then dont.

i dont like to wash every 2 months but i have washed them gently before about 3 months apart (spilled on them). i just put them on the hand wash setting in my washer then hang dry em.

Hey, what do you guys think of the naked and famous natural leather belts? Is the price decent for a belt like that?
