Thinking of buying a new car, RX7 seems like a good choice right now. It's either RX7 Turbo 2, MR2 Sc'ed(If I can find one), or a 5l Mustang. What kind of gas mileage do RX7's get. im guessing pretty close to a Mustang.

Yes, RX-7 gets terrible gas milage but its FAST:)
MR2 um...no. My friend has 1991 MR2 but cockpit is too big for my taste. I love 1st gen MR2, tight interior and 7500rpm redline.
I think 2nd gen MR2 turbo is OK too...
I like how RX-7 has tight interior...and more like racing car styled sportscar...
I won't buy Mustang because thats too common and I only like German, Italian, British and Japanese cars.
I'm not a big fan of Swedish, American, Korean, Spanish, Australian and Chinese cars.
French cars are OK but no, I don't really like them.

RX-7 is really good choice whether you are getting 1st, 2nd or 3rd gen.
I really recommend you taking compression check, VIN(history) check, lien check, and an inspection.

Sweet Merciful Crap, MY CAR !!!!!

Has new suspension. Well in the rear at least. I'm actually still surprised how easy it went, great afternoon, couple of beers, RB springs and Tokico Blues. I only swore once and I didn't even really mean it. Now if only those front struts would show up I could finish this off and put the new tires on. Ride height appears to be the same, I don't really care. I'm off for a little test drive now to see how it feels, not expecting to much as the front is still stock but I'm curious to feel if the squat has been reduced. Might go for some drifting too, looks like it might rain. Yaaay.

Go Kart. That's all I can say. Damn that felt nice. The rear is so solid and feels way more confident in hard cornering. This makes me so angry that the struts are not here yet, I want the front done...bad. I can carve left right left right waaay harder down the road. Before after a couple of consecutive hard turns forces would build in the rear and it would start to come out....that would be the worn shocks letting me know that they wanted to be replaced. Can't wait for the struts, should be this week, then all hell is going to break loose.

i saw rich's fd yesterday. looks pretty nice.

Wow, some informal testing has led me to beleive that cornering is up an average 20-30 km/h on fairly tight turns. This is on a 7 turn "road course" that I'm very familiar with, especially the conering limits of my stock suspension. I'm not even pushing it to the limit (I don't know where the new limits are yet :) ) I'll wait for the full install before finding them again. I was coming up on corners tonight and my foot was automatically reaching for the brake, I had to make a concious effort not to use them.

:agree:
