Yes they have, this Thread from a brittish forum is basically what I'm gonna do. The pictures of complete set-ups are from some bridge-port race motors being run in Aus. You'll notice how they have the injectors mounted outside of the air-horn, just sick! http://www.mazdarotaryclub.com/forum...&threadid=6861 Cheers, Grant P.S. Looks like Ebay is gonna cooperate and get me some cheap throttle bodies sometime today. |

i wish this board was as respectful as that one kinda reminds me of bcdsm, but lacking the good natured bashing lol |
E-fans are no good on these motors? My old motor liked to run hottish typically, so i was thinking of doing the swap to an efan. this paycheck = motor, and stuff needed to run next check = exhaust check after = some cool stuff. What eles can I do to get more out of the motor? All the emisions controls are gon eon the new motor and Exhaust will be quickly. but it's never enough. The car has to haul my ass around  Ohh and i'm getting my motor from a guy that has it installed in his mazda b2200.... he's taking it out and putting in a 13b, thats why it's for sale.... he also has a ton of parts for sale for both 1st and 2nd gens :) |

Electric fans will make a difference, but you'll probably only feel it in the first 2 gears. If you want to know before laying down your dough, go warm up you car to full temp, bring it back and take off the fan (4 bolts). Then take a rip down your street, try to make it quick and don't sit idleing anywhere for any amount of time, should give you and idea of what you're getting into. Don't forget to put that fucker back on either. I'll be getting one eventually, not really for the power, but because my fan clutch is slowly starting to fail. However, I'm going to make mine sexy with dual 10's and electric water pump and controller. With this setup I can set the fans to stay on for say 1 minute with the water pump circulating for another few minutes after that. Booya. Then there's the accusump....but I'm getting ahead of myself.... Man I can't wait to get back next summer with some dough in my pocket. |
