not much bigger then stock at all maybe 2mm-3mm bigger? but its built pretty tight so he can run lots of boost like 14psi all day unlike 10psi safely on the T2 turbo. With a clutch fan the car will rev slightly faster, slightly but its cool to get the gay shroud outta there.. i would use it though for proper ducting. |
I already got a TO4E so Im covered.... and I already got a fuel pressure gauge.. dunno man what do u have to trade with aroudn the same value? I've got preety varied intrests, not just car stuff. |
i got some 5pt harnesses for sale :) 200 bux obo |
hehe i saw someone advertising a 5 pt harness car seat for $30 bucks....I called them mad quick, it was all good till she said that the previous user didn't need it anymore cuz she turned 5....turns out it was a baby seat :p |
well i got a pair, 3" RCI latch style 200 for the set |

the ct26 is alot bigger then the rx7 turbo the supra is 38 comp wheel stock and the biggewst you stuff into it is the 62 and the hosueing is alot bigger and more free flwoign then the rx7 |
ya rx7 turbo will crap put eventually running that high psi 12+ daily.. plus when u get there thats pretty much innificent after that |
ok.. another exhaust Q. I'll be upgrading my exhaust next paycheck so. 2.5 is too big for a 12a, so i was going to go 2.25" Will that work? edit: that was 65-289ci not me |
perfect in my opinion |
and for a 13b? is 2.5" good? |

or a header... right Jeff? |
hi guys :) /waves |

Example: I was racing at Saratoga, and doing okay, but the car seemed to be out of powerband for a second after every corner. I put on the silencer at the end of the muffler, and that created enough backpressure to drop the powerband, and the car ran a couple of seconds faster the next time, and was much more responsive. If you want top end, go 2.5", if you want a little bit better powerband, go with 2.25 or 2". :) |

that must be a real small turbo then, 12 psi limit of efficentcy, i mean a t25 is efficent to about 15 and its TINEY... boost it over 16 for any length of time and u get blown turbo |

carry over from BC RX-7... Started swap of blown seal motor to good running motor. *yawn* I wish it was a better swap. Everything is disconnected, just waiting till Sat when i get the engine hoist :D. Ohh and as you can see, i started to polish my rims up... first rim pic is before, 2nd is after 8) http://www.mustangmods.com/data/9553/dsc00081.jpg http://www.mustangmods.com/data/9553/dsc00082.jpg http://www.mustangmods.com/data/9553/dsc00090.jpg http://www.mustangmods.com/data/9553/dsc00084.jpg http://www.mustangmods.com/data/9553/dsc00089.jpg http://www.mustangmods.com/data/9553/dsc00087.jpg |
Well, with this new swap, I will probly run strait out of a header for a couple day till payday when i can accually get an exhaust system  The reason i'm thinking of doing this is because i can't afford another exhaust mani gasket, and whats the point of buying a new one anyways when it'll becoming off in 3-4 days anyways.? So, what do you guys think? You have 1 maybe 2 days to convince me other wise. lol... |

Also, with turbo'ing a 12a you will probably want to go with a seperate Carb then the nikki. I was planning on doing the same thing, and called Rotary Shack in Cali, they have a 720rwhp turbo 12a. Anyway He said that the nikki becomes a cunt to start after its boost prepped. So after some chatting and idea Tossing I came up with running a Weber 48 DCOE, and attach the turbo plenum to that, which will make the plenum intake on the opposite side of the engine, like on a T2, which would make a FMIC much easier to run. Also apparently the Stock exaust ports are to small to support much boost or a large turbo, so without hogging them out your limited to a turbo roughly the size of a stock T2 Turbo(Hitachi HT-18) and not much more then 8-10psi. |
creeping on 130db? pshaw! try ~145db with RB header, no cats, y-pipe and dual mufflers |
I was runnin a 13b with RB header streetport exhaust to a flowie... soooo loud... open header is the loudest thing you've ever heard in your life... |
I sooooo badly want to try it for shits and giggles, but i think i may have to go about it a different way. My just have to haul the car to progressive, as i have no time to complete for at least work on it for 3 or 4 more days, and i have no engine host so i have to rent one all the time. *yawn* We'll see. I may still do it one day for fun :) |
Open Headers Kick Ass, Period. Nothing comes close to that wail, and I've never turned so many heads. It's an awesome feeling, almost like the car is alive. It's fun for flogging it, but sucks balls for cruising. The torque drop is fairly noticeble under 4k RPM, but the needle flies past 7 and feel great til 8. :) |
