yeah kinda random |
So I think I might go with a Corksport single exit catback, seems reasonable from others experience with it. |
oh cool |
here is a cool trivia... an FD with a "bone stock" LS1 will do 1/4 mile in 11.9 seconds. |

I heard they have done easily over 100 LS1 coversion on RX-7s. |
here is a spec of an RX-7 with a modded LS1. 1993 Mazda RX7 Touring Model 3.90:1 gear Total Weight: 2,831lbs (50/50 F/R ratio) 2001 LS1 T56 combination Ported Heads Cam (231/237 .595/.598 114) 500+ rwhp Performance (1/4 mile) 9.80 @ 140 mph 27mpg Hwy |
I think Corvette or Camaro are waste of LS1. The LS1 really doesn't like Corvette or Camaro chassis, they just don't match up very well. LS1 performs much better with other chassis such as RX-7. Other people swapped an LS1 into a Miata, 240SX, 300ZX, Supra, etc...and they all got better accelration, gas mileage, etc than Corvette or Camaro...and handled much better too. some people swapped an LS1 into a WRX by giving up the AWD and a Prelude by doing RWD conversion. |
wow i bet those are sweet rides... haha a prelude with a V8 thats awesome |
Did you know that covette was planned to have the rotary in it? |
