Babylon cafe has the best shawarmas ( by english bay)
donair affair has the best donairs.
sauce is the most important part about donairs, if your sauce is lacking then your donair is gonna suck

I always ate at the Mediterranean grill for the past few months since my school is near there. I always ordered the chicken shawarma but are you talking about the shawarma wrap or rice? (I always ate with rice)
edit: Oh.. it was beside mediterranean grill lmao. Never went there before since it is always empty around 8 pm :/

If I'm getting a shawarma, it's gotta be chicken. If its beef, I prefer the processed kind lol!

Went to Donair Affair after all the talk in this thread since I was passing by this weekend.
Had the chicken donair, was absolutely massive. Really fresh veggies, good sauce, chicken was tender. Not sure if it was the best donair I have ever had, but it ranks right up there.

Anyways, went back to the place in Metro/Station Square area right by Red Robins and it's still just alright.
Nothing mind blowing like Peggi Sue's in Chilliwack.

Any good places for halifax donairs? I have tried donair dude, donair stop, and the place on granville near davie and all had terrible sweet sauce. It tasted more like simple syrup. Anyone from out east had the real good ones and know where to find them here?

Actually, there's a good donair place in Crystal Mall. It is facing Kingsway, a few stores down from HSBC. It is a big wrap with side salad and a bottle of drink for $7.99 I believe. Try it out.
