this is typical of the emerging "nouveau riche" part of china that didn't get there through entrepreneurship or ingenuity (or even bribes), but are rural land owners that became millionaires overnight because their land has been approved for housing/central development. no matter how much money they've got now, they've always been farmers and have no "educated taste".

is it me, or does that statute in the bottom right corner, look like a kid giving someone head??.. 
haha i just noticed that the first picture is that of a bed...... the carving is tooo-too busy, that i didnt even notice the thing infront of it - which appears to be a bed.
EDIT:.. is it a bed?.. kinda looks like a table. and couch... Table couch??

looking in China, and it costs less than 10million RMB (1.5million cdn).
It has nothing to do with china, if it's an ugly house in Canada, I would post it here as
well. Nevertheless, it generally accepted that chinese people have poor or no taste.
